This is a video about Solving Quadratic Equations by Extracting Square Roots.
In this video I am showing how quadratic equations can be solved by extracting the square root. To get the value of the unknown, first you need to transfer or transpose other terms on the left or on the right side so long as the unknown is the only one left on one side.
After doing the transposition get the square root of both sides of the equation. This is called extracting the square root.
Once you get the value or the extracted amount then that is the final answer. But take note that the must always be two answers, the positive and the negative.
And after getting the final answer you have to perform checking of the answers. You just substitute the values to the given equation.
And if the right side equals to the left then your answers are correct.
