Explore SAULT STE MARIE, MI

Описание: A visit to Sault Ste. Marie, MI. Home of the famous Soo Locks and one of the oldest cities in the United States. Our day included a kayaking adventure to Voyageur Island to explore, relax and witness a passing freighter up close. After heading to downtown and visiting the Soo Locks, we were able to see the freighter, Walter J. McCarthy Jr passing through the locks. Afterwards we raced back to Rotary Park to watch this massive shipping vessel pass by the park and continue on its way to Lake Huron. We had a fun time exploring the area and would highly recommend visiting here if you are in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan!
