Welcome! On this video my husband Mark and I will show you how we grill ribs and bake a pie on the Weber Kettle.
Rib recipe
One rack of ribs
Seasoning of your choice
BBQ sauce
Brown Sugar
Maple Syrup
1 stick of butter
Grill was set up with the slow in grill pan with charcoal and a little water.
Ribs were grilled for about an hour at 275 degrees, then checked and grilled another hour. Then removed and placed on a double layer of foil with the stick of butter cut into pieces, about 1/4 cup of brown sugar sprinkled over the butter and maple syrup and bbq sauce poured over that, then the ribs placed meat side down on top of the butter and brown sugar mixture. Wrapped tightly and put back on the grill for another hour or so until they reach an internal temp of at least 190 degrees. Pull them off the grill and let rest for about 20 minutes.
Brown Sugar Peach Crumble Pie - from Sally's Baking Recipes
1 pie crust
7-8 medium peaches, peeled and cut into 1 to 2 inch chunks(about 7 cups)
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. all purpose flour
2 t. lemon juice
1/4 t. cinnamon
Crumble topping
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 t. cinnamon
3/4 c. flour
1/3 c. butter, melted and slightly cooled
1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Prepare the crust, Using a 8 or 9 inch cast iron skillet, butter the skillet and place the pie crust in the skillet, crimping the edges if desired. Set aside.
Mix together the peaches, brown sugar, flour, lemon juice and cinnamon. Thoroughly mixing all ingredients. Pour into pie shell.
Mix crumble topping together, it will be very thick and sticky. Arrange over the top of the peach filling. If you are grilling, place on the grill that is heated to about 350 degrees. Let cook for about 30-40 minutes and check to see if pie crust is cooked through. It may need an additional 10 to 15 minutes to finish. If baking in a conventional oven. Preheat oven to 400 and bake pie on a cookie sheet for 20 minutes. Turn oven down to 375 degrees and bake an additional 30-35 minutes or until juices are bubbly. Allow to cool for a full 3 hours before serving.
