Over the first weekend of July, the Glenbrook Vintage Railway ran a number of excursions with their recently restored & mainline certified Ww644 and DBR1254. These were the Ww's first public excursions since returning to service in early 2022. The Ww ran short trips to Te Awamutu, Morrinsville, & Huntly from Hamilton. The DBR ran a long distance day trip to Ohakune & back from Hamilton.
