The anniversary train departs from Grorud near Oslo, headed by historic steam locomotives 30a 271 and 18c 255.
El 11 2107 hauling the train to Oslo Central Station and assisting through the longest tunnels due to smoke conditions.
The train includes classic lounge coaches, a dining car, and a generator car supplying onboard power.
The route climbs the steep Brynsbakken grade and continues via Hakadal, Hønefoss, Sokna, and Ål before reaching Finse, the highest station on the Bergen Line.
The journey then crosses the dramatic mountain plateau, passing snow sheds, tunnels, and stunning winter landscapes before descending westward via Myrdal, Raundalen, and Voss.

Crowds gather along the line as the train continues through fjord scenery toward Bergen, before the historic equipment is finally moved onto the Old Vosse Line heritage railway.
