I leave Phan Rang early in the morning, filming the local breakfast scene before riding out through a small fishing village by the beach. Lots of laughs with the locals before continuing north.
Passing the brand new airport near Nha Trang, I stop briefly at the famous beach to see the contrast between tourist Vietnam and local life.
From there, I take the mountain road towards Tuy Hoa — but things take a turn when the motorbike breaks down mid-journey.
After making it to the hotel, I head into the town centre and find a massive Tet (Vietnamese New Year) celebration in full swing.
