Coach Harvey Kitani hasn't had a home game all year. That's because without an official home gym they feel they've been on the road all season. In the 2nd round of the playoffs it was no different as Rolling Hills Prep headed to Orange Lutheran to take on the Lancers.

Rolling Hills Prep broke out to a 10-2 start with Josahn Webster knocking down two early threes. Orange Lutheran would bounce back and trail by 2 points 14-12 at the end of the first quarter.

The Lancers took a slim lead 18-16 in the 2nd quarter after an Ethan McCoy three ball and it turned into a tight game. Nick Welch Jr only managed 6 points in the first half because of being double and triple teamed. Webster was the beneficiary of that seeing open shots and lanes to the basket. Webster added another 8 points in the 2nd frame and had 14 at the half.

Rolling Hills Prep held a 7 point lead heading into the 3rd quarter and extended the lead to 15 points at one point 45-30. Welch Jr was unleashed and scored 14 of his 20 points in the 2nd half propelling the Huskies to a big a 10 point lead at the end of the 3rd quarter 47-37.

Ethan McCoy put his squad on his back and brought the Lancers to within 4 points late in the game with 1:15 remaining. Another big bucket by Webster gave the Huskies a 6 point lead and they finished it off cashing in at the free throw line. Rolling Hills Prep advances with a 63-52 victory over Orange Lutheran.

Rolling Hills Prep will play JSerra in the quarter-finals next week.
