Centennial got off to a rough start shooting as they were 25% in the first quarter and 28% in the 2nd quarter. Harvey Kitani's Rolling Hills Prep took advantage of that and led by 2 at the end of the first quarter 13-11.

The Huskies of Rolling Hills would push that lead up to 9 at the half 30-21 behind some stellar play by Junior Nick Welch Jr. 11 points were scored by Welch Jr in the quarter including two threes. He would finish with 19 points and 6 rebounds.

Rolling Hills kept the pressure on Centennial in the 3rd quarter pushing the lead up to 14 points. Centennial's Jayden Yim did his best to keep the red and black in the game hitting two threes while scoring 8 points in the 3rd quarter. With under 6 minutes to play, 2 free throws by Carter Fulton put Rolling Hills up 14 points and had Centennial on the ropes.

Centennials would come storming back going on a 19-6 run fueled by Stanford bound Isaiah Rogers who scored 10 of those 19 points during the scoring run. Josh Agbo would put Centennial in front with a deep three 57-56 as the red and black took the lead. Yim would later connect on his 3rd three of the ballgame to give Centennial a 4 point lead with less than two minutes to play.

Fulton would get to the rim and cut the game to 2 points 60-58 but Jaiyden Smith would put the nail in the coffin with a bucket in the paint as Centennial escapes the upset and improves to 20-5 with the 66-60 victory.
