Magical papers! Using some of my beautiful dyed tissue papers

About this video
This week I had several dye sessions and explored dyeing thinner papers - very cheap copy paper, blank newsprint used for packaging and tissue paper. This was plain old white tissue paper, bought cheaply in a pack of 20 large sheets so plenty for my #paperdyeing.

I tried pale colours, spring colours, brighter deeper colours, some darker shades and some coffee to create vintage papers. All worked out really well and the tissue paper held up to being wet far better than I even dared hope.

As well as showing you how the papers turned out, I've also started to use the papers and collaged some of the dyed tissue paper onto some simple junk journal tag bases made from scrap card and book pages, including some music pages.

Mass making Is a great way to make lots of junk journal ephemera in one crafting session. I made all of these collaged junk journal tags in one afternoon and that included filming! Now I have a stack of loveliness to keep on hand for whenever I’m working in one of my junk journals.
