The Seven Sacraments Song
Refrain:
Seven, seven Sacraments;
they are, they are God’s instruments
of salvation and righteousness;
we must partake in them.
Baptism, Myron, Communion,
and Repentance and Confession.
Holy Matrimony, Unction
of the Sick, and Priesthood.
Baptism is when we become
Christians, sons of the Holy One;
reborn, risen, and forgiven:
part of God’s family.
Through Myron, His Holy Spirit
is given to us and through Him
we are given grace and wisdom
and protection and peace.
In Communion, Jesus’
Body and Blood to us
are given, and because
of this we can be saved.
When we Repent and we
Confess our sins to the
priest we can finally
be cleansed and forgiven.

Holy Matrimony is when
a man and woman become one –
joined together in Christ’s great love
until the very end.
The Unction of the Sick is when
a priest prays over a sick man
anoints him with oil and then
prays the absolution.
Priesthood is when a man
is ordained a deacon,
priest or a hegumen,
bishop, or patriarch.
He is the one who can
perform the sacraments
through which we can commence
our journey to Heaven.
