Описание: Alcohol relapse story -- If you're in the midst of it now, alcohol addiction, getting sober or early sobriety, I want to say that recovery is possible. I'm sharing my alcohol relapse story just in case you don't know yet that this is "normal," that it can take us more than one attempt to get sober.

I tried to stop drinking alcohol back in 2006, I even started an alcohol recovery or getting sober blog lol BUT then within 2 - 3 weeks I not only relapsed but somehow blocked my getting sober attempt from my mind.

If you're looking or relapse prevention strategies or a relapse prevention plan, I included a few alcohol relapse prevention tips in this video (things I did NOT do the first time I tried to get sober).

I did end up getting sober 3 years and a month after I initially tried to stop drinking alcohol. When I actually got sober, in 2009, I DID do those three relapse prevention tips. Of course there is more to a solid relapse prevention plan than what I include in this video with my alcohol relapse story.. Like for sure learning how to calm our inner world (regulate our nervous system) is key for navigating through the triggers in early sobriety.
