Описание: This is a drum cover of the song Clocks by Coldplay.

In this episode, Lord Vader is hitting the drums to the beautiful 2002 song Clocks by British Rock band Coldplay. The song was released as the third single of their second studio album called A Rush Of Blood To The Head, which still is my favorite Coldplay album today. Besides its iconic piano riff, also the drum part is very interesting to play an listen to, since it's not your typical 8-beat groove you might expect from a piano-driven ballad like this. The snare hits complement the repetitions of the highest piano note, while the 8th note kick drum pattern is driving the groove further together with the bass guitar. This should become some kind of a trademark for Coldplay, since it's been used in quite a few of their songs later on. Clocks not only resonated with the global audience, it also was awarded with a Grammy award for Single of the Year.
