In this detailed video, I am sharing my complete step-by-step method to make rich, creamy Gajar Ka Halwa without using khoya. This winter special dessert is slow cooked on low flame to bring out deep traditional flavor and perfect texture.
I started by chopping and mashing fresh carrots, then roasting them in oil for 8–10 minutes. After that, milk was added and cooked slowly for 30–35 minutes until fully reduced. Once the milk dried, dry fruits were added and roasted again. Since khoya was not used, milk pack cream was added to give a rich and creamy taste. Finally, sugar was added and cooked until the halwa became thick, glossy, and perfectly cooked.
