So many of us suffer from approval addiction; men and women, but the bitter truth is that it affects A LOT more women than it does men. It makes us show up in the world in an inauthentic way because we’re not thinking, feeling and doing to please us; only others. Needing to prove to others that we’re attractive and willing to go to extremes to get that validation and feedback. Needing to show them how much of a ‘good woman’ you are so you put up with unimaginable amounts of pain, humiliation and heartache and suffer silently the whole way through. Needing to prove to your higher power that you are in fact worthy of love and mistakenly thinking that means you have to put up with a lifetime of hardships, trials and tribulations just to feel worthy and that the love was justified. You DO NOT have to justify your life, your love or yourself! Not to anyone or anything. Love it. Love life. Love him. Love her. Love them. Just love you more! .
