In addition, because the radiation beams are more powerful and targeted, many fewer radiation treatment sessions are required.

Another advantage: The pinpoint targeted radiation, hits only the tumor site, sparing surrounding healthy tissue and vital organs from damage, resulting in many fewer side effects, if any.
