Dark Vektor is the alias of Ivan Arnau, a pioneering figure in Spain’s electro music scene. Hailing from Terrassa, an industrial city near Barcelona, Arnau began producing music using an Atari computer and vintage drum machines . He initially gained recognition as part of the electro duo Sbles3plex before launching his solo career in the early 2000s .
Known for his distinctive blend of classic electro-funk with modern electronic elements, Dark Vektor often incorporates Spanish vocals into his tracks, emphasizing the emotional resonance of music . His discography includes notable releases such as the 2006 track "Cyan" , the 2023 EP "Dark Vektor" featuring the track "Dance Till Die" , and the 2024 single "Oscuridad Sintética" .
Beyond his solo work, Arnau has contributed to the electro community by founding Dona-li Records and collaborating with artists like Kosmozo, Atom, and Marinetta .
