The remix series returns with a new wave of artist-focused VA's
FXPLYR004 opens the run with Kassian curating a sharp set of club-ready reworks. Calling in friends and extended family from across the scene, the release revisits the early sounds that shaped the duo’s foundations back in 2022. Kassian lead with a new electro-leaning VIP of ‘Off World Vehicles’, ramping up the acid and propulsion while keeping the original’s explosive drive. Bodhi flips ‘Fade’ into a peak-time garage weapon powered by heavy low-end, while Danny Goliger reshapes it into a forward-leaning broken-beat roller.
The ‘Hollow’ remixes widen the emotional and stylistic range: sept7 pushes the track into big-bass electronic territory; Lugovskiy delivers a textured, garage-tinted atmospheric version; and Gary Gritness turns in a raw, hardware-driven 9-minute machine-electro workout. Closing the package, Ben Gomori’s Space Garage Remix of ‘Off World Vehicles’ bends the original into a playful, personality-rich 2-step cut.

Kassian is an exploration of Techno, Bass and Electronica from London duo Warren Cummings and Joe Danvers.
Since forming in 2019, they’ve evolved from groove-heavy house roots into a forward-thinking club act with releases on !K7, Heist, Phonica and Shall Not Fade. Their imprint Faux Poly has become a respected outlet in its own right, now reaching its 20th release — a new Kassian EP marking their return to the label. Their music continues to draw support from leading selectors including Ben UFO, Four Tet, Floating Points, Caribou and Dixon.
Following their Phase Two and Supercontinent EPs on !K7 — the latter spotlighting standout cuts Yena and Pulgueiro Baile — Kassian released their debut album Channels in 2025 to widespread acclaim, including praise from Pitchfork. The duo have built a global reputation through appearances at Panorama Bar, Watergate, Love International and Kala, alongside tours across the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and most recently India. Their long-running Rinse FM residency continues to showcase their evolving sound and deep connection to London’s electronic scene.

Studio work for a variety of sessions of House, Hip Hop and Smooth Jazz, including Grammy Award winner Kenny Bobien and top producers in the House Music field such as Grant Nelson, Terry Hunter, Louie Vega and many more. Leads bands DopeGems and The Good Lawdz.
Hailing from the post-industrial city of Nancy, France, is bad boy and multi-instrumentalist funkateer Gary Gritness aka Slikk Tim. Killer electro funk blending nowadays influences from the streets of Detroit, Oakland and Atlanta around his trademark soulful sound.Using an oldschool setup, Gary’s music is dirty, warm & funky as hell, and is best enjoyed in his powerful live shows featuring masterful vocoder action and hard-core keyboards aggression. As a session musician Slikk Tim has worked for many household names including Orlando Voorn, Dam-Funk, Los Hermanos & many others.
