Part 2 of our Berg Lake Trail adventure picks up with an unforgettable side trip to Snowbird Pass, a challenging 20km out-and-back that rewards you with sweeping views of glaciers and rugged alpine terrain. After one last night at Berg Lake Camp, we explored Toboggan Falls and the Hargreaves Lake viewpoint before starting the journey back down the trail. Along the way, we revisited the powerful Emperor Falls, then made camp at Whitehorn for one final night in the backcountry. From glacier vistas to roaring waterfalls, this section of the Berg Lake Trail captures the beauty, the challenge, and the reward of hiking in the Canadian Rockies.
