Fixing simple leaks and a new outside tap

Описание: On today’s video, we got a few little issues to sort out in this property. We’ve got a leak underneath the boiler a toilet that’s constantly running and an outside tap which is a bit funky to fit outside and do some plumbing on the inside.

The leak on the boiler is coming from the hot water pipe going to the boiler nice easy swap of the fibre washer by shutting off the main water opening the tap draining underneath by ending removing the old faulty fibre washer and installing a new one and tightening that back up .

The toilet is constantly running. This could be from two issues either the ball valve or the siphon nine times out of 10 on these push buttons. It comes from the siphon as there is either a buildup of scale or soapy sludgy stuff under the washer which stops creating the Seal when the siphon opens and shut.

The customer wanted a new outside tap and they wanted me to try and tidy up the outside so I’ve decided to fit a wall plate so by removing the old soda back plate elbow and the pipe going inside I fitted a new wall plate on the outside and put a nice new isolator with a handle so they’re able to turn it off in the winter a little bit more easier than the flathead screw type.

I’ve done the video in a bit more of the ASMR style with a little description of what I’m doing and I think that this is the right method going forward as it should be more relaxing to watch rather than just listening to somebody talking for a long period of time if you don’t like to talk then I can just simply just keep it quiet and stick to the ASMR
