Eccentric Wrist Extension
Sit with your elbow and forearm supported on an elevated surface, wrist and hand resting past the edge of the surface, palm down and fingers making a fist. Use your opposite hand to passively bend your wrist back, lifting the back side of your fist up toward the ceiling. Once in this position, let go of your affected hand, hold as directed, then very slowly lower your fist back to starting position and repeat.
You can hold a small dumbbell (or other light-weight household item) in your hand for resistance if instructed to do so by your physical therapist.
