Prime Minister Hon. Jotham Napat has returned to Vanuatu following his first official visit to France, where he met with French President Emmanuel Macron.
During the visit, the two leaders held key bilateral discussions covering several important matters, including ongoing Airbus negotiations and the long-standing boundary dispute over Matthew and Hunter Islands.
In a brief press statement upon his return, Prime Minister Napat described the meetings as positive and constructive, marking an important step forward in Vanuatu–France relations.
