Vanuatu has officially been invited to participate in the World Expo 2030, which will be hosted by Saudi Arabia and is expected to attract over 42 million visitors from around the globe.
Vanuatu’s Commissioner General to the Osaka 2025 World Expo, Joe Pakoa Lui, met with Yahya Binladin, Head of the Non-Government Participants Department in Saudi Arabia, to discuss the nation’s potential involvement.
Mr. Lui said that for Vanuatu to participate, it will need to establish a mission in Saudi Arabia, as the host nation plans to provide a dedicated pavilion for the country during the event.
