Delivery of a complete Starfrost spiral freezer installation
Here you see a complete Starfrost spiral freezer installation with a production capacity of approximately 2,000 kg/h, delivered to a chicken meat producer in England. This turnkey freezing solution consisted of a fully reconditioned Starfrost spiral freezer (including CIP cleaning system) combined with a GEA/Grasso ammonia freezing plant built into a 40 ft container, engineered for efficient and compact onsite installation. Key features of the installation: • GEA Grasso single screw package (type S), fitted with new bearings and seals • New control cabinet equipped with Siemens PLC/HMI touch screen and updated software • -40°C low pressure separator, -10°C economizer tank, and high pressure liquid tank • Air cooled condenser and air cooled oil cooler • All necessary control valves, electronic level controls, and hermetic ammonia pumps Delivered complete with all required P&ID / E drawings and PED certification.
