🧾 Ingredients : 500g
🔸 Brownie Layer
Butter – 60 g (4 tbsp - unsalted)
Dark chocolate – 80 g (½ cup chopped)
Powdered sugar – 70 g (½ cup)
Milk – 60 ml (¼ cup)
Vanilla essence – ½ tsp
Maida – 50 g (⅓ cup)
Cocoa powder – 15 g (2 tbsp)
( i used dark cocoa )
Baking powder – ¼ tsp
Salt – pinch
🔸 Cookie Layer
Butter (soft) – 50 g (3½ tbsp)
Powdered sugar – 30 g (2½ tbsp)
Brown sugar – 30 g (2 tbsp)
Milk – 1 tbsp
Vanilla – ½ tsp
Maida – 90 g (¾ cup)
Baking soda – pinch (⅛ tsp)
Salt – pinch
Chocolate chips – 40 g (¼ cup)
👨🍳 Instructions
✅ 1. Make Brownie Batter
Melt butter + dark chocolate together.
Add powdered sugar → mix smooth.
Add milk + vanilla.
Sift maida, cocoa, baking powder, salt.
Mix into thick glossy batter.
✅ 2. Make Cookie Dough
Cream soft butter + powdered sugar + brown sugar.
Add milk + vanilla.
Add maida, baking soda, salt → mix soft dough.
Fold in chocolate chips.
✅ 3. Assemble
Line 6–7 inch square tin.
Spread brownie batter evenly.
Place small flattened cookie dough pieces on top (leave gaps).
✅ 4. Bake
Preheat: 170°C for 10 min
Bake: 25–30 minutes
Edges set + center slightly soft = perfect brookies.
✅ 5. Cool & Cut
Cool completely before slicing for clean bakery-style squares.
⭐ Tips
Powdered sugar in brownie = extra fudgy texture
Brown sugar in cookie = chewy top & better colour
Don’t overbake → brownie becomes dry
Chill cookie dough 10 minutes if sticky
For selling: cut 9 equal squares
