How to Use Yoga Blocks | Beginners & Those with Tight Hips & Hamstrings

When you are new to Yoga or perhaps tight in your body, using Yoga blocks can really give you some confidence whilst getting into difficult poses and stretches.
This video is a very basic overview of ways that you can incorporate yoga blocks into your class to assist you whilst you improve your skills and flexibility.
You will need two blocks, and you can purchase them from most large retailers, however as I mentioned in the video, here are some links for blocks you may want to consider:
Foam Blocks (these are light and have a bit of cushioning in them - so if you want to use blocks for a restorative class, these are the better option): https://amzn.to/3GfBC6K
Cork Blocks (these are heavier and more sturdy, so if your balance is a little wobbly and you need a sturdier block to support you, this might be a better option for you. As they are harder, these are not recommended for restorative poses): https://amzn.to/3nqAJzG
