1. Til Ke Laddu:
Sakat Chauth puja is round the corner and so thought of sharing these home style sesame seeds ladoo recipe with you all.
Dishes prepared with Til (sesame seeds) provide heat and energy to the body which are necessary to beat the cold. Ladoo's made with Til and Gur(jaggery) are prepared on Makar Sankranti, Lohri and Sakat Puja. Til gur ladoo is also called Tilkut. These ladoos can be prepared very easily.
Til ladoo are traditional Indian sweet balls made with sesame seeds, jaggery and cardamom powder. These ladoos are not only delicious, but rich in iron and calcium.In Halwai style til ke ladoo, mawa and dry fruits are also used.
Ingredients:
White sesame seeds (til) - 150 gm
Ghee- 1 tsp
Jaggery- 150 gm
Water- 2-3 tsp
Cardamom powder- 1 tsp
2. Churma Laddu | Choorma Ladoo:
When you think of Rajasthani food, you think of dal bati churma. Without churma or churma ladoo Rajasthani cuisine is incomplete. Today, we bring to you this recipe of special kesar flavoured churma laddo which is made out of a mixture of wheat flour (gehu aata), gram flour (besan)and semolina (suji).

Ingredients:
Wheat flour (Gehu Atta)- 1 cup
Gram flour (Besan) - ½ cup
Semolina (Suji)- ½ cup
Ghee – 3 tsp for kneading dough
Ghee- 3 tsp for roasting churma
Powdered Sugar- 8 tsp
Cardamom powder- 1 tsp
Almonds- 10 to 12
Pistachio- 10 to 12
Saffron milk- ½ cup
Take few strands of saffron and soak it in half cup of milk for 30 minutes
3. Besan Laddu:
Sweets add more colours and flavour in our festivals.
Laddoos make me nostalgic and takes me back to my childhood days when i used to steal the laddoos , my nani made.
Follow the step by step recipe to know how to make these delicious laddu at home. There are three main ingredients of this recipe , Besan (Gram Flour) , Sugar & Ghee (Clarified Butter).
Adding cashew nuts and almonds give it a rich texture and enhances the taste. We have also added a pinch of turmeric for that beautiful colour.

Cashew Nuts - 1/4th Cup Finely chopped
Almonds Chopped - 1 tsp
Cardamom Powder - 1 tsp
