Sakat Chauth puja is round the corner and so thought of sharing these home style sesame seeds ladoo recipe with you all.


Dishes prepared with Til (sesame seeds) provide heat and energy to the body which are necessary to beat the cold. Ladoo's made with Til and Gur(jaggery) are prepared on Makar Sankranti, Lohri and Sakat Puja. Til gur ladoo is also called Tilkut. These ladoos can be prepared very easily.

Til ladoo are traditional Indian sweet balls made with sesame seeds, jaggery and cardamom powder. These ladoos are not only delicious, but rich in iron and calcium.

In Halwai style til ke ladoo, mawa and dry fruits are also used.

Ingredients:
White sesame seeds (til) - 150 gm
Ghee- 1 tsp
Jaggery- 150 gm
Water- 2-3 tsp
Cardamom powder- 1 tsp
