Hi, I'm Lis DeGironimo, the State Geographic Information Officer, and Director of Geospatial Services at ITS.
Our team uses geographic information systems, or GIS, technology, to create framework datasets, like address points, street center lines and orthoimagery. This information is used in thousands of applications statewide.
We also provide GIS platforms and expertise to State agencies, helping them better serve New Yorkers. Our GIS Clearinghouse and Open NY websites connect people with data and tools that help them better understand their communities.
I am proud to lead my team in delivering geospatial data and capabilities that benefit all of New York!
