Often as sewing instructors our students will share with us sewing advice from the internet so we incorporated some TikTok’s and shorts as an educational tool.
This podcast is meant to be an open conversation while heavily relying on our professional and personal experience, we understand that there are tons of ways to sew and purely mean this critique as a way to further discuss various sewing techniques.

Laurie started her career off as a fashion designer in the 80’s, running her brand for almost 10 years. After that team dissolved she worked as a mortgage broker, an arts instructor, and then returned to her roots to open up her sewing studio La Movida! Now running it for almost 14 years she shares over 4 decades worth of sewing, business, and life experience in her new podcast - Sewciology !
