Lymington Model Railway Exhibition 2025 Part 2

Описание: The Lymington Community Centre hosted a Model Railway Exhibition again this year over the weekend 19th/20th April. Organised by Stuart Farmer, Paul Bunyan, Mahala Smith & the Centre staff, it helped to raise funds for the Centre. As usual, a good variety of layouts were on show.

00:21 Somewhere in France 3 - 009 gauge - Peter Capon. Set in WW1 and featuring the front line trenches, a devasted village, a casualty transfer area and headquarters, a RFC airfield and a modern day memorial garden. Voted Best in Show.
03:36 Penworth - N gauge - Mark Butler. Small GWR branch line terminus and goods yard with buildings that are scale copies of those seen at the Pendon Museum.
07:10 Hell's Glen - N gauge - Bob Norris. American modular layout featuring a power station, gorge and coal mine. Look for the coal dust blowing from the mine.
14:10 West Clayton - N gauge - Ken Avegard. Fictional station situated near the West Yorkshire and Lancashire border in the period 2000-2005.
16:18 Piddle Regis - 00 gauge - South Western MRC. Set in the Dorset countryside, a 3rd rail electric BR line runs alongside a heritage LSWR line.
18:55 Tittesworth - 009 gauge - Chris Barker, MERG. Loosely based on a Welsh narrow gauge railway. Note the 'history' of the line.
20:14 North Quay - 2mm Finescale - Ian Morgan. Loosely based on St Helens harbour, Isle of Wight and includes a working lorry and narrow gauge feed into the gasworks.
22:03 Ins and Outs - N gauge - Stuart Farmer & Paul Bunyan. Double figure of eight circuits, showing how much N gauge can occupy a small space.
23:34 Claire's Trams - 00 gauge - Bob Ahrens. Town scene featuring trams and set in the early to mid 1960s.
24:05 Small N Working - N gauge - Ian Redman. A light hearted display of working N gauge trains in small spaces.
26:09 Rheilfford Warniwm 009 gauge - Daniel Nutbeam. Fictional mining village in North Wales.
