BEST Campsite Yet on the PCT? | Day 3 – Deep Lake → Waptus Lake

Описание: Day 3 of our 6 day 65-mile Pacific Crest Trail section hike was the shortest and easiest at just 6.1 miles with 325 ft of ascent and 1,483 ft of descent. But what it lacked in mileage, it made up for in beauty.

We arrived at Waptus Lake, one of our favorite campsites of the entire trip. With sweeping views of the lake and surrounding mountains, plus a chance to cool off with a swim, it was the perfect reward after two tough days on trail. We closed the day with a stunning sunset over the water.
