Can This Rusty Old Sailor's Knife Cut Again? Full Restoration

Описание: This week, I’ve restored an old rigging/sailor’s knife that I found buried in an old ammo box. It was in rough shape—rusted, damaged, and barely functional. I disassembled it, treated the metal with acid to remove rust, wire brushed and sanded it, resharpened the blade, and blued the metal plates. The wooden handle needed repairs, so I glued the broken sections, sanded them smoothly, and reassembled everything using new brass pins. Finally, I sealed the restoration with linseed oil, bringing this vintage tool back to life!
