Drunk Crazy Woman Rams Police Car at the US/Canadian Border

On September 22, 2024, officers with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) at the Lynden, Washington, port of entry contacted the Washington State Patrol about a drunk woman acting unusual. Trooper Dickerson arrived to find a 42-year-old woman who had locked herself in her vehicle, while playing music excessively loud and drinking alcohol. While waiting for backup from the Whatcom County Sheriff's Office and the Lynden Police Department, Trooper Dickerson tried unsuccessfully to get the woman to roll down her window. When additional officers arrived, they shattered her passenger side windows in an attempt to unlock the doors. While they were doing this, the woman put her car in reverse and rammed Trooper Dickerson's patrol vehicle. He then pushed the vehicle forward, pinning it against a concrete block. Officers were eventually able to extract the woman from the vehicle. She was transported to the Whatcom County Jail, where she was charged with a long list of serious criminal charges. Her case is still open and all suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
