More showers and stronger winds are expected through midweek and it will become gusty for many of us. Cool air and stronger winds will make it feel cooler than the thermometer suggests, especially during the afternoon hours. Light rain and mountain snow Thursday and Friday could briefly affect outdoor plans, while the Cascade passes receive accumulating snow during this stretch. With more weekend sunshine, expect colder overnight temperatures before another round of big warming.
Conditions begin to calm down over the weekend as a weak ridge builds over the Pacific Northwest. Saturday still features some clouds, but sunshine should become more common by Sunday as temperatures climb through the 50s and into the low 60s. Early next week looks even warmer with highs pushing well into the 60s.
