In this video, I present a tribute to one of the giants of jazz, Chick Corea, and his famous composition "Bud Powell". This piece celebrates the legacy of bebop through Corea's modern and sophisticated musical language, here reimagined with a completely unique tonal color.

I personally curated this arrangement, written ad hoc for a 5-piece jazz flute ensemble.
🎹 The Piece:
"Bud Powell" is more than just a song; it is a dialogue between different eras. Chick Corea wrote this piece to honor Powell's influence on his own style.
