Grumblestiltskin was a particularly unhappy Grey-Headed Flying-Fox baby who was rescued when he happened into a roof box gutter drain in the middle of the night, and couldn't get out.
He was unimpressed with pretty much everything about me - the colour of the catching cloth, the mode of transport, the fabric in the sling, the apple juice (apparently he wanted apple and blackberry flavour), the glucose, and the accommodation, and he wasn't afraid to let me know of his displeasure.
He kept up a critical commentary for most of the journey home.
Understandably he's still a little upset at his situation but he's calmed down and is resting in the incubator with another baby from today.
Let's see what tomorrow brings.
