Little Red Flying-Fox gives birth: Sky and Jake

Описание: Sky is an adult female Little Red Flying-Fox who was rescued from barbed wire. She was pregnant when she came into care, and now she's popping out her baby.
You can see she has the baby with his head poking out, looking around, yawning and waggling his ears.
Then a whole lot of nothing happens for a while, interspersed with a few good pushes, and the aviary life continuing around the mum in labour.
A stolid toothless old black, Frank watches on. Sapphire, a black female photobombs, does a wee, stickybeaks into what is happening in the labour and is swiped at by Sky.
Young Cherry crosses the aviary for a snack, a little too close to the labouring mum, and is watched and poked in warning to keep away.

Then finally the business of pushing becomes serious and mum Sky forms a hammock to catch her baby when he arrives.
One large push, and out he plops.
Welcome to the world little Jake.
