Ingredients:
Basa fish fillets 250g
1 Big size lemon
Salted butter for cooking as required.
Red chilli flakes to taste
Chopped garlic as per taste
Soaked dry red chillies 10-12 pieces
Green chillies 2 pieces
Fresh coriander leaves ½ cup
Fresh mint leaves 10-15 pieces
*Garlic cloves big 5-6 pieces
Red Chilli / Deghi Mirch powder 1Tsp
Amchur Powder ½ Tsp
Leftover water of dry red chilly
Mustard oil or olive/vegetable oil 1Tbsp
Tomato big in size- 1 piece
Method:
Step 1:
#Remove all the pin bones from the fish, clean thoroughly.
#We need to marinate the fish with salt, crushed black pepper powder and lemon.
#Cover the fish with the cling wrap and refrigerate it for 30 mins.
Step 2:
#Prepare a special masala for the fish. Use grinder.
#Take Dry Red chilli soaked in a lukewarm water for 30 mins. Drain the water and set it aside for later use.
#Add green chilli, coriander leaves, mint leaves, garlic cloves, salt to taste, deghi mirch powder, amchur powder, dry chilly water and mustard oil.
#Blend all the above ingredients and make a smooth paste.
Apply the paste all over the fish on both sides.
#And save the rest of the masala for grilling fish and tomato later.
Step 3:
#To give more flavour here
#Transfer the fish in a deep bowl, put a small piece of aluminum foil and place a smouldering piece of coal, pour few drops of oil over it, smokes appear, immediately close the lid of the bowl for 10mins. Through this process, a smoky flavour developed in a fish.
#After 10 mins open the lid, fish is ready to grill.
Step 4:
#Take a grill or any non-stick skillet.
#Grease it with butter liberally.
#Place fish fillets.
#Take a tomato cut into halves, coat it with the leftover masala on both sides and place it on the grill.
#Till the fish grill, get ready to prepare other items for the sizzler.
Step 5:
Ingredients for Mixed veggies
*Butter 1Tbsp
*Chopped garlic – 20g
Button mushroom 2-3 pieces
Sliced carrots – 20g
Capsicum – 30g
Frozen peas – 40 g
Frozen corn – 30g
Salt and crushed black pepper to taste
Method:
#In a hot skillet, add butter and garlic fry for a minute.
#Add vegetable one by one and sautéed it for 2 mins.
Seasoned it with salt and black pepper powder to taste.
Step: 6
Prepare the French fries.
Season it with salt and black pepper powder to taste.
Step: 7
Ingredients:
Steam cooked rice – 1 bowl
1tsp olive oil
1 tsp butter
Curry leaves 5-6
Coriander leaves
Salt and black pepper powder to taste.
Method:
In a hot skillet, add oil and butter.
#Add curry leaves, cooked rice and sautéed it for 1-2 mins.
Sprinkle some chopped coriander leaves.
Season it with salt and black pepper powder.
Step: 8
Ingredients for Butter slurry.
*Butter – 1 Tbsp
*Chopped garlic: 20 g
*Plain water: 100 ml
*Cornflour: 1Tsp
*Lukewarm water: 2Tbsp
Salt, black pepper powder, red chilli flakes to taste.
Final Step:
Assembling of Sizzler.
Method:
On a hot plate, place some lettuce or cabbage leaves.
#Place rice, veggies, fries, grilled tomatoes and finally our star ingredient sliced grill fish.
#To make it sizzle, pour some butter slurry over it while serving.
