Описание: A shocking patricide case in Lucknow has stunned the nation after a 21-year-old allegedly shot dead his father and dismembered the body. On 20th February, inside a house in Lucknow's Asiana locality, a heated argument broke out between Akshat Singh and his father Manvendra Singh, a liquor businessman, over pressure to clear the NEET entrance examination. Police allege that Akshat fired his father's licensed rifle, killing him instantly. Investigators claim the son then dragged the body downstairs, planning to dump it in the Gomti River. When that failed, he allegedly bought a saw, dismembered the body, and stored the head and torso in a blue plastic drum inside the house while dumping other body parts elsewhere. The victim's minor daughter reportedly witnessed the aftermath but was allegedly threatened and confined. Neighbours became suspicious when CCTV footage showed Manvendra entering the house but never leaving. Akshat even joined a WhatsApp group searching for his missing father and filed a police complaint. Police interrogation eventually cracked the case, leading to recovery of body parts and Akshat's arrest on charges of murder and destruction of evidence.
