Dada Pottery, artisans of heritage is a wonderful place of Africa that picked my interest when I first heard of it. It is a major attraction center located in Nigeria, Kwara state, Ilorin. On getting to Ilorin, my team and I went through the Oja Oba market and started asking for directions to get to the wonderland, Dada Village.
This video contains the whole process on how they use clay to create pottery locally such as piggy banks, ramen bowls, covers, plates, bowl and more. It shows the burning process, the pottery bloopers and much more. Alhaja Raliat the chief potter also shares more about how it became a way of life for them.
