Tuba Excerpt Ride of the Valkyries Played on JinBao JBBB-200 BBb Tuba

Описание: This is the JinBao BBb tuba model JBBB-200. The horn is a German design very much like the Alexander 163 BBb. The intonation is great as well as the sound but most of all the low register is INCREDIBLE!!!!!!, one of the best low registers of any tuba in any key, hands down. If I had better BBb chops I would consider this as my all around horn and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality BBb tuba at a great price. Let me go back to the sound of the instrument. Just before I started MACK Brass of Virginia, www.makcbrass.com, I owned an Alex 163 BBb. This horn is a tad smaller in the body but the sound is absolutely to die for and very comparable in every way to the Alexander with one exception, the intonation is much better. It is very easy to play and the notes slot very well. This horn is going to one of my students, a 7th grader who will be able to continue their development and use the horn at any level to include the pro level.

Side note:
If you hear any intonation issues, I can assure you that it is me and not the horn as I just learned to play the Ride on BBb the day before this recording. Learning the Ride on BBb was a challenge to say the least when you are so used to playing it on CC, give it a try if you get a chance.
