Jacob Matthew Beach.
Born September 22, 1983, in Toledo, Ohio.
A Bowsher High School wrestler and football player.
Class of 2002.
After one year at Owens Community College
he answered the call to serve.
Bravo Company, 3rd Battalion, 69th Armor.
3rd Infantry Division.
Samarra, 2005.
Ramadi, 2006–2007.
Then Afghanistan in 2009.
Three combat deployments.
Five years.
An honorable discharge.
But Jake was more than a soldier.
He came home and studied Kinesiology
at the University of Toledo.
He became a certified personal trainer
and nutrition consultant.
He loved mixed martial arts —
and in 2015,
he won the Ohio Cage Combat
Light Heavyweight Championship belt.
He was a son to Mark and Linda.
A brother to Chad and Melissa.
A friend.
A teammate.
A fighter — in every sense of the word.
On December 15, 2025,
Jake lost his battle with PTSD.
He was 42.
The war doesn’t always end
when the deployment does.
Remember the man.
Honor the warrior.
Never fight alone.
Rest easy, Jake.
