石上神宮は 日本最古の神社のひとつ とされ、古事記や日本書紀にも登場します。
境内には国宝の拝殿や重要文化財の楼門があり、さらに禁足地の特別参拝に参加しました。
また、境内を歩く神聖なニワトリや、山の辺の道、茶会など豊かな文化も楽しむことができます。

In this video, I’ll be introducing Isonokami Shrine (Isonokami Jingu) in Tenri City, Nara.
Known as one of the oldest shrines in Japan, Isonokami Shrine is mentioned in both the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki.
The shrine features a National Treasure worship hall, an Important Cultural Property gate, and the sacred “forbidden area” (Kinsokuchi), which I had the rare chance to visit during a special worship.
You’ll also see sacred roosters roaming the grounds, the historic Yamanobe-no-michi trail, and even experience a traditional tea gathering.
