Significant progress was made with 3 months of the Texas Method, but then I ran into a period of overtraining that required deloading and rebuilding. Since then I have modified the workout but am maintaining much of the same progression with my squat, but at a slower pace. Today I went off script and decided to go for a new lifetime one rep max. One of my goals for the year was to squat 300 pounds, and I didn't want to wait any longer.
