Описание: Probably the most scenic Civil War battlefield is on the magnificent Lookout Mountain in Tennessee. Point Park is run by the Nation Park Service and includes historic information, museums, and plenty of awe inspiring views.

American Civil War battles took place here in the fall of 1863 and were known as the Battles for Chattanooga. Many historic markers in the area give a great depiction of what happened. The hard part is trying to visualize everything to understand how these battles took place when you are viewing it from the ground. In this video, I show you 3D battle maps for Suck Creek, Brown’s Ferry, Wauhatchie, Knob Hill, Lookout Mountain, and Missionary Ridge. These animated visuals should give you a better idea of how the battles played out the next time you go visit the area in person.
