🍞 Pizza Dough (Makes 1 Large Pizza – Serves 2–4)
Ingredients
½ cup warm water (see instructions below)
1 teaspoon honey
1½ teaspoons active dry yeast
2 cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons olive oil

Instructions
1️⃣ Activate the Yeast
Mix ¼ cup hot water with honey and stir.
Add ¼ cup cold water.
Check temperature — it should be about 110°F (warm, not hot).
Sprinkle in yeast and let sit.
If it does not foam, the yeast may be inactive.

2️⃣ Make the Dough
Combine flour and salt in a bowl.
Add yeast mixture and olive oil.
Stir until a shaggy dough forms.
Knead about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
If sticky, add a little flour.
If too dry, add a teaspoon of water.

3️⃣ Let It Rise
Place in a lightly oiled bowl.
Cover and let rise 60 minutes until doubled.

🍅 Pizza Sauce
Ingredients
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon olive oil
½ teaspoon salt

Instructions
Warm olive oil over medium heat.
Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
Stir in tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, and salt.

Simmer 10–15 minutes.
Let cool before using.

🧀 Toppings
1½ cups shredded whole milk mozzarella
Any other toppings you would like such as:
12–16 thin slices salami
½ cup pineapple chunks (pat dry well)

🔥 Assemble & Bake
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 475–500°F.
(Place pizza stone in oven while preheating if using.)

2️⃣ Stretch dough into a 12–14 inch circle.
Transfer to parchment on pizza peel.

3️⃣ Spread sauce, leaving a 1-inch border.
Add mozzarella and toppings

4️⃣ Bake 8-10 minutes until:
Crust is golden
Cheese is bubbling
