Patellar Tendinitis is a common cause of knee pain. The patellar tendon works with the muscles in the front of your thigh. That's what's happening when you run, jump or straighten your leg.
You don't need to be a sports person to have this injury even though it is more common among runners and jumpers (basketball or volleyball).
