Day One of my Snowies Alpine Walk Circuit was a fairly easy half day as I walked from the trail head down in Guthega up to a camp on the Main Range above Club Lake Creek. Straight from the get go today the Snowies Alpine Walk made for superb walking through some absolutely stunning country I thought.

Best reference for this walk : there's not a lot of information around for this walk yet. New South Wales National Parks has some stuff online. There are no walking notes yet that I know of and most of the hard copy topo maps don't have all these tracks on them. There is some digital maps available on AllTrails that can be downloaded for off line use.
