In this video I show you how you can create the geometry for both fluid and solid models for an FSI study of the wave propagation in a flexible tube.
This type of problem is a common benchmark for FSI workflows.
It consists of a simple straight pipe with:
diameter: 2cm
length: 10cm
wall thickness: 2mm
We will, however, create the solid geometry as a surface only (so without thickness) and use S6 (second order triangular) shell elements later.
