Amazon's The Rings of Power has come under a lot of fire from some fans of The Lord of the Rings community. Corey Olsen, self branded Tolkien professor, featured in a video for IGN defending the series and being intellectually dishonest. Following the interview he made a follow up appearance on his own channel (link below) where he explained how he was taken out of context and his views were perhaps presented in a clickbaiting way that were not aligned with his real feelings on the Rings of Power series.
